Yoruba Nation: Osun Amotekun warns against unlawful gathering


The Osun Amotekun Corps has warned in opposition to any illegal gathering beneath the guise of Yoruba Nation agitation.

The warning was issued by the Corps Commander, Brigadier Basic Bashir Adewinmbi, rtd, on Monday in Osogbo.

Seaking on the preparation of the safety outfit to maintain the state secure within the wake of contemporary Yoruba Nation agitation, Adewinmbi declared that Amotekun wouldn’t enable protests by the group within the state.

In his phrases, “There may be nothing like Yoruba Nation agitation right here in Osun. Amotekun received’t tolerate any Yoruba Nation protest right here. What they’re agitating for, we now have gotten it not directly.

“The president, Senator Bola Tinubu is a Yoruba man. They’re on the lookout for a Yoruba Nation and Nigeria is beneath a Yoruba man, so Nigeria is a Yoruba Nation now not directly.

DAILY POST remembers that some people suspected to be Yoruba Nation agitators wearing army camouflage and armed with weapons had invaded the Oyo State Authorities Secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan on Saturday.

20 of the agitators, together with a lecturer, had been later arrested by the police.
