Tinubu appoints new board for Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission

President Bola Tinubu has permitted the appointment of the next Nigerian professionals to the Board of the Securities and Change Fee (SEC):

(1) Mairiga Aliyu Katuka — Chairman

(2) Emomotimi Agama — Director-Normal

(3) Frana Chukwuogor — Government Commissioner (Authorized and Enforcement)

(4) Bola Ajomale — Government Commissioner (Operations)

(5) Samiya Hassan Usman — Government Commissioner (Company Companies)

(6) Lekan Belo — Non-Government Commissioner

(7) Kasimu Garba Kurfi — Non-Government Commissioner

The president anticipates that every one members of the board of this important fee will carry to bear their wealth of expertise and competence in advancing the fee’s core mandate of growing and regulating a capital market that’s dynamic, honest, clear, and environment friendly, to bolster investor confidence and contribute immeasurably to the nation’s financial improvement.
