The Rivers State Native Authorities Service Fee has barred officers from the 23 LG areas within the state from showing earlier than the Rivers State Meeting.

This was contained in a round addressed to all heads of native authorities administration signed by the Director of Data and Communications of the fee, Ebirieneuket, Nteile.

In response to the round, any employees member who “disobeys or violates the directions can be dismissed from service accordingly”.

The round reads, “I’m directed to tell you and all officers of the 23 Native Authorities Councils in Rivers State to not honour/seem earlier than the Members of Meeting or any purported invitation by anyone or group of individuals in any guise with out the permission of the Appearing Chairman- Native Authorities Service Fee”.

DAILY POST reviews that the event is probably not unconnected with the political disaster ravaging the state.

The political area in Rivers State has been in turmoil following the face-off between the state governor, Sim Fubara and his speedy predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

Recall that the State Home of Meeting on April 22, handed the Rivers State Native Authorities (Modification) Invoice into regulation by overriding the assent of Fubara.

The Home, led by its Speaker, Martin Amaewhule, made the choice at its 159th Legislative sitting held on the Meeting Quarters in Port Harcourt.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers State chapter on Tuesday directed the meeting members to right away begin the proceedings for Fubara’s impeachment.
