The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) on Wednesday issued a stern warning to members of the general public, stating that it’s a legal offence to hinder the fee’s officers from finishing up their lawful duties.
The EFCC Institution Act, Part 38(2)(a)(b), makes it clear that obstructing EFCC officers is punishable by as much as 5 years in jail.
