Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has assured extra assist to safety operatives within the state to boost their efficiency for a secured state.
The Governor, in a press release via his media aide, Mamman Mohammed, gave the peace of mind in his workplace on Friday when he was introduced with the award received by Operation Haba Maza safety outfit as one of the best police patrol outfit in Nigeria, by the Nigeria Police Power.
Buni established Operation Haba Maza in 2019 as an emergency assist to the traditional safety companies within the state.
He recommended the safety companies within the state for his or her synergy and teamwork, which have grossly lowered the speed of crimes throughout the state.
The Yobe State Commissioner of Police, Garba Ahmed, recommended the governor for establishing the outfit.
“The outfit has remained a robust pillar in combating crime in Damaturu, the state capital and its environs,” he stated.
Ahmed known as for the extension of the outfit to different main cities within the state to help in curbing crimes whereas requesting extra autos to spice up logistics for efficient patrol throughout the state.
