Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday mentioned his authorities has resolved to close down the Qatar-based information channel, Al Jazeera.
Netanyahu mentioned the choice was taken after a gathering along with his safety cupboard.
Posting on X, the Prime Minister described Al-Jazeera because the mouthpiece of Hamas militant group.
He mentioned: “After dialogue by the Safety Cupboard and pursuant to my directive, at present the Authorities mentioned closing Al Jazeera broadcasts in Israel.
“Al Jazeera correspondents have harmed the safety of Israel and incited towards IDF troopers. The time has come to eject Hamas’s mouthpiece from our nation.”
Equally, Israeli’s Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi mentioned there will probably be no freedom of speech for Al-Jazeera.
Karchi mentioned: “There will probably be no freedom of speech for the Hamas trumpets in Israel.
“Al Jazeera will probably be closed instantly and the tools will probably be confiscated.”
