Impersonation: Nigerian Army hands over dismissed soldier, 3 others to police

The Lagos State Police Command mentioned the Nigerian Military has handed over a dismissed soldier and three others over alleged impersonation.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the handing over to newsmen on Sunday.

Hundeyin mentioned an Military Captain connected to Dodan Barracks, Obalende, introduced the 4 suspect to Onikan Police Division on Friday at about 5:01 pm.

In keeping with him, all of the suspects have been of no mounted addresses, including that certainly one of them was dismissed from the Military in 2016.

Hundeyin additional said that the suspects have been caught carrying camouflage t-shirts and face caps of the Nigerian Military.

“On interrogation, it was found that the suspects steadily dedicated varied crimes utilizing army accoutrements and so they equally used them to beat examine factors.

”Efforts are on to determine how they acquired the military uniforms. Investigation is ongoing,” he mentioned.
