Former Nigerian Minister, Kenneth Gbagi is dead

A former Nigerian Minister of Training and 2023 governorship candidate, Kenneth Gbagi has died at 62.

He was reported to have died on Saturday.

This was confirmed in a press release by his eldest son, Emuoboh Gbagi.

“It’s with profound unhappiness however gratitude to God that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, husband, and brother.

“Orogun Kenneth Omemavwa Gbagi, former Minister of Training, departed this life on Could 4 2024, at 62.

“We take consolation within the fond reminiscences of his life, achievements, and the affect he made on numerous people and communities.

“We kindly request your ideas and prayers for our household throughout this difficult time of loss. Could his soul relaxation in excellent peace,” he wrote.

Gbagi was the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Occasion within the final election in Delta State.

Recall that Gbagi misplaced to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Occasion, PDP, on the 2023 governorship election in Delta State.
