Uchechi Kanu, spouse of the chief of the Indigenous Individuals of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has visited the Biafra agitator in custody of the Division of State Providers, DSS.

She disclosed that her go to to Kanu in DSS custody was facilitated by Anambra South Senator, Ifeanyi Ubah.

Kanu had been within the custody of DSS since 2021, after he was renditioned from Kenya.

Earlier than her go to, it was gathered that Mrs Kanu had been repeatedly denied entry to her husband.

Addressing IPOB members on radio in the UK on Sunday, Uchechi recommended Ubah for facilitating the go to.

She stated: “Let me use this chance to thank Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who moved swiftly to facilitate my go to to my husband in DSS custody. I thanks, sir.

“I thank different Igbo politicians, governors, and political workplace holders who’re involved in regards to the plight of my husband.

”A whole lot of these elites are involved in regards to the illegal detention of my husband, and are working silently to safe a spherical desk dialogue for his launch. I’m grateful to them.”
